Twice a year for most homes. Lebanon's coastal humidity swings, damp winters, dry summers with air conditioning, move the soundboard more than in temperate climates. Pianos near the coast, in Beirut or Jbeil, benefit from a third tuning. Concert and hotel instruments are tuned before every use.
