The U7 was the tall one. Yamaha built it above the U3 for players who wanted more string and more case, and it was never sold in numbers.
The front panel of this instrument has been replaced with glass and lit from inside, so the plate, the strings and the hammers are on show while it is played. Children stand in front of it and do not move.
The case is walnut and the instrument has been prepared and regulated in our atelier. It belongs in a room where people are meant to look at the piano as well as hear it.
